Welcome to Our Church

With desire to protect the health of our members, the capacity of our health care system, and minimize COVID-19 spread, all events and Sunday worship services at Zion are suspended.

The building is closed until further notice.

Check back here for updates to this unprecedented status.

We are called together by Christ
as a community of hopeful...believers,
loving what he loved,
living what he taught,
striving to be faithful servants of God
in our time and place.

(from A Song of Faith, United Church of Canada)

We acknowledge that we gather on the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki and the Attiwonderonk First Nations peoples, on land that was subject to Treaty 3 (1792), an area also known as the Between the Lakes Purchase.

What We Believe

Zion United Church is a congregation of The United Church of Canada. Within the United Church, and within each congregation, we find a broad spectrum of theological perspectives, which is one of the strengths of the denomination that lives its faith by embracing diversity.

Covid-19 Update

After careful consideration, our Leadership Council has determined that the building will remain closed until further notice. Although we know it is difficult for some not to meet in person, our priority remains the health and safety of everyone at this time. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Please worship with us online by clicking the link at the top of our masthead.
